Cascades Cycling Club Membership
JOIN THE CASCADES CYCLING CLUB!
Our club is made up of people from all walks of life who happen to enjoy riding bicycles. Join us and you’ll join a community that also supports bicycling. Over the past several years our club has donated funds to help construct portions of the DTE Energy Foundation Trail, to help purchase a rescue vehicle for the Chelsea Area Fire Authority, and to help support the legislative efforts of the League of American Bicyclists. We’ve also donated to help support advocacy efforts at the League of Michigan Bicyclists, and we have provided our mountain bikers with tools and equipment to help maintain the MTB trails at Ella Sharp Park.
From the start, our mission has been to support cycling in the Jackson area and that continues to this day. One of the ways we do that is to with our Pedal and Whine Bike Tour. This is our main fundraiser of the year and it helps support many of our other activities. Since our first Pedal & Whine Bike Tour in 2013, this event has grown in popularity for cyclists in Jackson and across southern Michigan.
Membership in the Cascades Cycling Club is open to anyone interested in bicycling and provides you with the following benefits:
- 10% off parts & accessories at On Two Wheels
- Use of the club’s premium membership for the Ride with GPS software, which allows club members to follow bicycling routes on their smartphone or cycling computer
- Organized rides on paved roads, gravel roads, MTB trails and rail trails
- The safety and camaraderie of riding in a group
- Club newsletters with information you can use
- Insurance coverage whenever are participating in a club ride
Joining the Cascades Cycling Club is easy. Simply fill out the online form and you will be prompted to submit your dues payment via PayPal. Online cost is $21 for an Individual membership or $31 for a Family membership.
If you prefer to join via the US Mail, you can download and print the membership application, fill it out and mail it with your payment to the address below. Mail-in cost is $20 for an Individual membership or $30 for a Family membership.
